I work in a bar. Nice place, homey little Irish Pub. Problem is 90% of our customers are regulars, been coming there for years, know the owner, etc.....Now why is this a problem? because they feel when they get drunk they have the right to grope me without consequence.

Sad part is, they can. If I can't gently urge them away from me, I sure as hell can't yell at them cos then bye bye tips, right?

So the other day I had a very strange one.....There's this old couple that always come in, nice people, the man is actually from ireland I think, strong accent, and the woman is just an older woman, probably mid to late sixties. Now here's the odd part....it was the woman who groped me!!!!

As I walked by their table she literally reached around and popped me one right on my ass....and I was wearing short shorts so her hand grazed my bare skin a bit. Now I'd like to chalk it up to her being a bit......eccentric. Because if I don't the mere thought that she was serious makes me go into a fit of dry heaving. But what can I do about it. i simply looked back and got this mock surprise look on my face like a good dumb little cocktail waitress and smiled and laughed and went about my duties.

I think I need to find a different job. Because to tell you the truth, delicate little flower that i am, if I have to put up with one more old man grabbing a boob, one more old lady slapping my ass or one more drunken, stumbling moron that reeks of a putrid combination of vomit and liquor telling me how he's gonna "take me home tonight and give it to me better than I've ever had it" I'm going to take a damn fire extinguisher and hose 'em all down and walk out.


Do they pay unemployment to waitresses?
